Emily Oldfield competed in the BLDSA Bala Open Water swim on 13th July 2013. This was a 1km swim following a triangular course which started from Bala Lake stone jetty. There were two categories either Traditional swimming costumes/tracks or Wetsuit. The lake was a warm 15c and conditions were calm.
Emily achieved 6th place overall in the 1000m race coming in as the 3rd woman completing the course in just 14 minutes and 23 seconds. Well done.
